This adventurous 15 day journey will take you to the heart of Bali and its main interesting points. After that you will discover the secrets and unknown South Sulawesi Province, one of the most pristine regions in Indonesia.

Program
Day 1. Welcome to Bali / Denpasar - Ubud
Arrival in Denpasar, Bali's capital, and depart for Ubud Village, which is the geographical centre of the island. Then you are free the rest of the day to relax in our hotel in Ubud or to take a walk through the streets of Ubud and visit its markets, temples and art galleries

Day 2.-3.-4. UBUD
Free days to make optional activities from our hotel in Ubud. Accommodation and breakfast.

Day 5. BALI - MAKASSAR - BIRA BEACH
Transfer to the airport to flight to Makassar. Arrival to the airport of Makassar, Sulawesi's Island capital. After meeting our guide, we will drive to East part of the island, to the Bira Cape. Here we will enjoy this solitary, coralline beach of white sand. Rest of the afternoon free. Accommodation in Bira Beach Hotel (1*).

Day 6. TRIP TO "LIUKAN" ISLAND
After having breakfast, we will take a boat of the local fishermen to go to the nearby island of Liukan where we can enjoy its coralline environment; we will see (snorkelling) corals and a lot of fishes. Then, in the island, we will visit the fishing community of "konjo" that lives there. They are well known by its hand weaving popular called "ikat". Before return to Bira, we will have time to relax in the idyllic beach of Liukan In the afternoon, we will visit the village of Tana Beru, where hand wood ships (phinisí) are still made. We will see the shipyard and the town just located behind them. Next, we will come back to Bira to have dinner and sleep.

Day 7. BIRA - SENGKANG - BAMBA PUANG
After breakfast, heading north, depart to the village of Sengkang, in Bugis' territory. After lunch, by canoe visit to the Tempe Lake, where the Bugis fishing community live. They have floating houses in the centre of the Lake. They only leave their houses to trade. We will visit their floating house and will enjoy their hospitality having a tea with them. Back to the village of Sengkang to go to Bamba- Puang (Door of the Gods, in Toraja language). It takes two hours by car. We will check- in for accommodation in the marvellous Bamba Puang Resort, situated in the middle of the spectacular mountain pass.

Day 8. BAMBA PUANG - TANA TORAJA
After breakfast, drive to the land of the Toraja. At midday, we will arrive to Rantepao, the most important village of Tana Toraja Region. Our hotel is here. In the afternoon, we will visit some of the typical villages of this region.

Day 9. TORAJA TOUR
Today we will visit the most charismatic places of the Tana Toraja Region. We will visit the village of Kete´kesu where we will be able to appreciate the curious shape of the Toraja traditional houses, the North-South distribution of the villages, the stone graves of Londa, guarded by Tau-Tau (wood effigies representing the deceased), high up a rock. If during the stay we have the opportunity to see a ceremony, we will assist to see the fascinating ritual that is taken to honour the deceased. Return Rantepao to have dinner and sleep.

Day 10. TREKKING RANTEPAO - LIMBONG
Today we will go to the village of Salu (12 km from Rantepao), the starting point of an unprecedented trekking through the South area of Tana Toraja. From this point, we will start the way up to the Valley of the Mailing River. We will walk through paths, rice fields, coffee plantations and small Toraja house settlements. For lunch, a picnic and we will spend the night in a local and typical house in the beautiful village of Limbong. (Approx. 4 hour Trekking, 2h ascent + 2h flat)

Day 11. LIMBONG - RAFTING MAULU RIVER
After breakfast, we will walk down to the River Maiting (Approx. 1 Hour way down). Once down in the river, we will carry out the rafting (Level 2 .- Easy); we will have a formidable visual experience passing by the deep canyons, natural waterfalls and villages; seeing animals as iguanas and tropical birds. Then we will return to our hotel in Rantepao.

Day 12. TORAJA - MAKASSAR - BALI
We will be driven through "transulawesi" road to Makassar, Sulawesi's capital. During this trip, we will visit the traditional villages of the Bugis, who live in all the South of the Island. They are known by their ability to build "phinisi" boats and by their houses set on stilt. We will stop in the beach of Kupa to have lunch and enjoy the astonishing tropical landscape. In Makassar we will take the flight back to Bali. Arrival in Bali and transfer to the Hotel in Jimbaran Beach.

Day 13.-14. JIMBARAN BEACH
Free days; accommodation and breakfast.
