This charming 13 day journey will take you to the heart of Bali and its main interesting points. You will experience the ancient culture, traditions and customs of Tana Toraja Region. Program
Day 1. WELCOME TO BALI / DENPASAR - UBUD
Arrival in Denpasar, Bali's capital, and depart for Ubud Village, which is the geographical centre of the island. Then you are free the rest of the day to relax in our hotel in Ubud or to take a walk through the streets of Ubud and visit its markets, temples and art galleries

Day 2. KINTAMANI - VOLCANO BATUR - BESAKIH TEMPLE TRIP
Depart from Ubud to Sebatu, a small village. Before arriving to Sebatu, the road goes by wonderful rice fields situated in the stepped terraces. In Sebatu we will visit the temple of the sacred fountain, place of purification for the Balinese. We will pass by coffee and orange plantations before arriving to Kintamani, a mountain village at an altitude of 1400 meters over the sea level. From the village, we will enjoy of an amazing view overlooking the still active Batur Volcano (1717 meters) and the Batur Lake. Then, we will visit Besakih, the most important temple of Bali, built in the mountainside of the Agung Mountain (3142 meters), which is the highest mountain of the island. Next, we will go to Klungkung, the former capital (1740-1908), where we will see the Justice Court (Kertagosa) and the Floating Pavilion (Bale Kambang). On the way back, we will stop in Goa Gajah (The Elephant Cave) whose temple is one of the most visited and venerated in Bali.

Day 3.-4. UBUD
Free days in Ubud.

Day 5. BALI - MAKASSAR - TORAJA
Transfer to the Bali airport to take the flight to Makassar. (Sulawesi) We will be driven through "transulawesi" road to Tana Toraja. During this trip, we will visit the traditional villages of the Bugis, who live in all the South of the Island. They are known by their ability to build "phinisi" boats and by their houses set on stilt. We will stop in the beach of Kupa to have lunch and enjoy the astonishing tropical landscape. After lunch, we will go, by road, to the interior of the island until get our hotel in Rantepao. Accommodation.

Day 6.-7. TORAJA TOUR
During these days we will visit the region of Tana Toraja, its traditional villages, with their houses in the shape of hulled boat - Kete y Palawa -, the ancient graves on the stone of Lemo, Londa or Kambira. We will also visit the colourful markets and if a traditional ritual is held, we will assist. Then we will visit the mountain area of Batutumonga and we can make a moderate trekking of two hours walking through the settlements where we can see how the Toraja live in the mountain and we can enjoy the incredible nature of this region.

Day 8. RAFTING MAULU RIVER
After breakfast, we will walk down to the River Maiting (Approx. 1 Hour way down). Once down in the river, we will carry out the rafting (Level 2. - Easy); we will have a formidable visual experience passing by the deep canyons, natural waterfalls and villages; seeing animals as iguanas and tropical birds. Then we will return to our hotel in Rantepao.

Day 9. RANTEPAO - MAKASSAR
After breakfast, we will be driven back to the capital of Sulawesi. Accommodation.

Day 10. MAKASSAR - MANADO - SILADEN RESORT
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to flight to Manado. Arrival in Manado an transfer by car and boat to Siladen Resort located at Siladen Island. Free afternoon.

Day 13. DEPARTURE FROM MANADO - OUT.
Transfer to the airport of Manado to take the return flight.
