This special 16 day journey will make you live an unforgettable experience. From the Island of Borneo, an ideal place to feel the nature by visiting the National Parks and the orangutans, the mysticism of the temples of Java to the astonishing sunrise in Bromo. In Tana Toraja you will enjoy its spectacular views and an adventurous trekking and rafting is waiting for you. After that, you will visit the heart of Bali and its main interesting points.

Program
Day 1. WELCOME TO YAKARTA / BANJARMASIN
Arrival to Yakarta. Immigration clearance. Connecting flight to Banjarmasin. Arrival in Banjarmasin and transfer to the Hotel. Accommodation. Overnight.

Day 2. BANJARMASIN - PANGKALANBUN (National Park of Tanjung putting)
Transfer to Banjarmasin Airport to take the flight to Pangkalanbun. Arrival in Pangkalan Bun and transfer by car to Kumai from where we will go up the river Sekonyer -on a ship - visiting Tanjung Harapan near the rehabilitation centre for orangutans.

Note: For the flights to Pangkalabun maximum luggage weight allowed is 10 Kg per person (the price for overweight is approx. 1,5 € per kg extra)
Day 3. TANJUNG PUTING: TANJUNG HARAPAN - CAMP LEAKEY.
Today, we will sail in our Klotok boat by the Sekonyer River. We will have the opportunity to see the huge diversity of this rich ecosystem situated in the South part of Borneo Island. We will visit the two rehabilitations centres for orangutans in the National Park coinciding with the lunch time. These orangutans live with gibbons, probiscideus monkeys, macaques, crocodiles and a extend variety of endemic birds. Every afternoon, we will berth our small ship to sleep near the probiscideus colonies.

Day 4. BORNEO - SEMARANG - YOGYAKARTA
Breakfast and return to Pangkalan Bun sailing down the Sekonyer River. Flight to Semarang. Arrival in Semarang and transfer by car to Yogyakarta. Accommodation.

Day 5. YOGYAKARTA - TRIP BOROBUDUR - PRAMBANAN
Trip to the worldwide famous Buddhist Temple Borobudur, which holds over 500 Buddha statues and thousands of relief panels. Then we will visit Prambanan, the biggest Hindu temple compound of Indonesia. These temples are dedicated to Trimurti, the expression of God as the creator (Brahma), the Sustainer (Vishnu) and the Destroyer (Shiva).

Day 6. YOGYAKARTA - SURABAYA - BROMO
Transfer to the airport to flight to Surabaya. ( FLIGHT JOGJAKARTA - SURABAYA ) Arrival in Surabaya and transfer by car to the Bromo Volcanoes - Tengger - Semeru National Park. Accommodation.

Day 7. BROMO SUNRISE TOUR - SURABAYA - MAKASSAR
At 04:00 in the morning, we will start to go up by 4x4 to the Penanjakan Volcano (2.770 metres) passing across the crater. It is essential to leave early in the morning to see the sunrise from the ring of the Volcano. Once in the peak, and after the daybreak, we will go down again to the Mount Bromo crater to ascend again, but this time on a horse, passing by "the route to the heaven". From the peak summit, it is possible to see the active volcano spewing steam. Back to hotel at 08:00 and right after breakfast transfer to Surabaya airport to flight to Makassar. Arrival in Makassar and transfer to Hotel, accommodation.

Day 8. MAKASSAR - TORAJA
After breakfast, we will be driven through "transulawesi" road to Makassar, Sulawesi's capital. During this trip, we will visit the traditional villages of the Bugis, who live in all the South of the Island. They are known by their ability to build "phinisi" boats and by their houses set on stilt. Late in the afternoon, we will arrive in Rantepao. Accommodation.

Day 9.-10. TORAJA TOUR
During this day we will visit the region of Tana Toraja, its traditional villages, with their houses in the shape of hulled boat - Kete and Palawa -, the ancient graves on the stone of Lemo, Londa or Kambira. We will also visit the colourful markets and if a traditional ritual is held, we will assist.

Day 11. TREKKING RANTEPAO - LIMBONG
Today we will go to the village of Salu (12 km from Rantepao), the starting point of an unprecedented trekking through the South area of Tana Toraja. From this point, we will start the way up to the Valley of the Mailing River. We will walk through paths, rice fields, coffee plantations and small Toraja house settlements. For lunch, a picnic and we will spend the night in a local and typical house in the beautiful village of Limbong. (Approx. 4 hour Trekking, 2h ascent + 2h flat)

Day 12. LIMBONG - RAFTING RIO MAULU
After breakfast, we will walk down to the River Maiting (Approx. 1 Hour way down). Once down in the river, we will carry out the rafting (Level 2 .- Easy); we will have a formidable visual experience passing by the deep canyons, natural waterfalls and villages; seeing animals as iguanas and tropical birds. Back to hotel in Rantepao.

Day 13. RANTEPAO - MAKASSAR - BALI
After breakfast, we will depart - South direction - to the capital of Sulawesi, to flight to Bali. Arrival in Bali and transfer to Ubud, geographical and cultural centre of the Bali Island.

Day 14.-15. LIMBONG - RAFTING RIO MAULU
Free days in Bali.

Day 16. LIMBONG - RAFTING RIO MAULU
At the arranged time transfer to the airport to return.
