Program
Day 1. WELCOME TO MEDAN - BOHOROK
Arrival in Medan and transfer by car to the Bohorok Orangutan Rehabilitation Center. It will take around three hours, going through palm tree plantations. Bohorok Center is bordered by the primary forests of Gunung Leuser Natural Park. Upon arrival at Bohorok, we will walk through the spectacular tropical rain forest's landscape. We will see the oranguntans roaming semi freely. Accommodation in Bukit Lawang Cottages or similar, near the beautiful river of Bohorok.

Day 2. BOHOROK - BERASTAGI
After breakfast, proceed drive to Berastagi, a ethnic Batak village. En route, we will enjoy the wonderful views of the area: rice fields, forests and active volcanoes. Accommodation in Berastagi.

Day 3. BERASTAGI - SAMOSIR ISLAND
After breakfast, departure by car passing through the high lands of the Karo Batak, where we will see its rice fields and cloves, ginger and palm tress plantations. Stop to visit the house of the ancient Batak Kings in Pematang and the Sipiso Piso falls. In the afternoon, we will get Prapat from where we will take a boat to go to Samosir Island, in the center of Lake Toba. Accommodation in Samosir at Hotel Toledo, just in front of the Lake.

Day 4. BATAK LAKE TOBA VILLAGES
Right after breakfast, we will visit the traditional Batak ethnic villages located in Samosir Island (Tomok, Ambarita and Simanindo). They are interesting for their house architecture, their ancient animism culture and the fantastic natural environment of Lake Toba. Accommodation. Hotel Toledo.

Day 5. SAMOSIR - MEDAN - OUT
After breakfast, return to Medan (4 - 5 Hours), the capital of Sumatra Island. We will pass through rice fields, palm trees and cacao plantations. We will go directly to Medan's airport to take the flight to the next destination.
