Description
This fascinating 7 day journey will take you to the heart of the Island of Flores and its main interesting points: astonishing landscapes, interesting cultural customs and traditions of its villages and a unique flora and fauna. After that, you can enjoy the coralline beaches of the area. Remark: Extension from Bali.

Program
Day 1. WELCOME TO BALI - MAUMERE - MONI
Transfer from the hotel in Bali to the international airport of Denpasar. Departure from Bali on a charter flight to the city of Maumere, in the island of Flores. Lunch in a local restaurant and transfer to the village of Moni. During the journey, we will stop in the village of Jopu, known by the high quality fabrics woven on a loom by women. In the afternoon, arrival to Moni and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2. MONI - KELIMUTU - BAJAWA
This trip will start early in the morning. Before the clouds hide the summit, we will departure to Kelimutu to visit the three colour lakes. After 1, 5 kilometres walking up, we will reach the craters summit at an altitude of 1.500 metres. Inside of it, there are the three lakes of green, turquoise and black colour. The three lakes are one of the identifiers of Indonesia. Then, we will come back to Moni to have breakfast and depart to Bajawa. En route, we will stop in Ende, Ende, Peggajawa and Wogo. Arrival to Bajawa and transfer to the hotel.

Day 3. BAJAWA
After breakfast, we will ascend walking to Dadomudah Volcano (approx 3 hours), which erupted last time in January 2000. After lunch, we will visit the thermal waters and the village of Bena, where we can see the traditional houses of Ngada Ethnic, with an animism customs not long ago. Back to Bajawa. Accommodation

Day 4. BAJAWA - RUTENG
Breakfast in the hotel and transfer to Ruteng. En route, we will stop to see how the natives process the Aeak, a traditional alcoholic drink. We will continue, passing by fascinating sceneries, until getting Ruteng. Accommodation in Ruteng.

Day 5. RUTENG - LUBUANBAJO - RINCA (NATIONAL PARK OF KOMODO)
In the morning, we will go to Lubuanbajo, stopping in Cara to contemplate the peculiar rice fields in the shape of a spider web. Near Ruteng, there is the Liang Bua Cave. In 2003, some Indonesian and Australian Scientific exhumed seven small hominids called " Man of Flores". The most recent lived 13.00 years ago. Upon arrival in Lubuanbajo we will take the boat and we will leave for the Island of Rinca. Right after breakfast we go to the harbour where a wood boat is ready to leave for Rinca island. We will go for a walk to come across the Komodo Dragons in their natural habitat. Simple supper and accommodation on the boat.

Day 6. RINCA - KOMODO - LABUANBAJO
After breakfast, we will go for a walk of about 2 km through the Komodo National Park, where we will see the Dragon of Komodo (VARANUS KOMODOENSIS) and other endemic species of the island. Later on, we can go snorkelling in Rosa Beach, one of the best coralline beaches of the area. Then we will sail to Labuanbajo. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 7. LABUAN BAJO - BALI
Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Bali.
