Yuphayao Chaivisut

Yuphayao or Nu as she is fondly called by colleagues and clients, worked for GTA (Gullivers Travel Associates by Travelport) in sales for 11 years and was in charge of looking after Thai Travel agents for outbound tours to Europe. After her stint in GTA, she worked for 1.5 years with a destination management company, in Bangkok, as Head of Contracting for the whole Indochina.

Born in Bangkok, Nu moved to the US when she was 18 years old and spent almost a decade in America while studying for her Bachelors Degree and eventually her MBA degree. It was also in the US when began her career in the tourism industry by working for a small travel agency outfit.

Nu is now back in Bangkok overseeing the Thailand market, which is interestingly comprised not only of domestic market but of a large expat community together with travel partners that send inbound travel business to Indochina and the rest of Asia Pacific.
