Day 1: Hanoi (arrival)


Arrive at the airport in Hanoi. You’ll be picked up and transferred to the hotel. Enjoy a traditional folk performance and water puppet show, the unique Vietnamese traditional art. This art originates from rural festivals in Vietnam. Overnight in Hanoi.


Day 2: Hanoi (breakfast)


Vietnam’s artistic and intellectual capital. Explore the fascinating Old Quarter and its hundreds of specialty shops selling silk clothing, lacquerware, embroidered linens, furniture, bamboo, cooking utensils, ceremonial objects and more. Walk around Hoan Kiem Lake, visit a traditional Hanoi Old House, and enjoy people-watching at stylish cafes. Shop for impressive modern art in the city's myriad galleries. Also visit Hanoi's main cultural attractions, including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the former leader’s House on Stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Fine Arts Museum and the Temple of Literature. Visit one of Hanoi's most famous artists Pham Luc and his gallery – he will have the pleasure of inviting you to his home for a cup of tea. You'll get to know Vietnamese culture and food, and, if you're lucky, have a sample of his art. Overnight in Hanoi.


Day 3: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (breakfast, lunch, dinner)


In the morning, joint transfer to Ha Long (170km), a World Heritage site recognized by UNESCO in 1994. Upon arrival, get on board for a stunning cruise on Ha Long Bay, visiting some magical grottoes while enjoying the best scenic beauty of Vietnam. Enjoy a traditional lunch and dinner with the freshest and finest seafood. After lunch, we cruise to the inside of magical landscape of Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island, Binh Phong mountain, Sung Sot Cave and a stop at Titov Beach. Enjoy the sunset on top of Titov mountain or take a bamboo rowboat to discover water tunnels with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back on the junk, enjoy dinner on the boat. Overnight on the junk in Ha Long Bay.


Day 4: Ha Long – Hanoi (breakfast, brunch)


After a night on the bay, you awaken to see daylight filtering through the early morning mist and towering rock formations. After breakfast we cruise to the Bai Tho Mountain in beautiful Bai Tu Long Bay and then cruise back to the Ha Long dock. This trip offers visitors opportunities to survey the best seascape of Ha Long both at sunrise and sunset. Return to Hanoi after brunch. Overnight in Hanoi.


Day 5: Hanoi – Half-day cooking class (breakfast, lunch)


Cyclo ride from your hotel to a hands-on cooking class where you learn about the art of traditional Vietnamese cuisine in the Old Quarter with Hanoi chefs. Visit a lively local market Hang Be Market before donning a chef's uniform for a hands-on cooking class demonstration. Learn how to make a number of regional delicacies, which may include Banana Flower Salad and Spring Rolls. After a half-day morning session, you enjoy a delicious feast of the dishes you created, and get to take a copy of the recipes home with you. Enjoy a cyclo tour of the city and head back to your hotel in this charming vehicle. Overnight in Hanoi.


Day 6: Hanoi – Departure (breakfast)


You are free at leisure activities until transfer to the airport. Meeting at the hotel and transfer to the airport for departure.
